Insoles

The orthopaedy last is digitised by a 3-D scan. On the basis of the data resulting from this procedure , the insole is moulded afterwards in stereoscopic pictures (3-D) suitably over the last. The orthopaedy last and the insole form the straight last which is also digitally recorded.

Advantage: Properly matching manufacture of an insole (and as additional use a straight last) with less complexity than hand-molded patterns

Rough webs and cutting webs

During the direct sole the pattern data are used for the delineation of the rough -and the cutting webs.

Advantage: This saves the complete teach-in expenditure at the machine and thus much time and costs.

Heel blank molds

The digitized lasts provide also a basis for many other tools. The last data can be used as well for the heel preforming tools.

Advantage: As soon as the digital last data are available they can be handed over to the moldmaker for subsequent processing.

Last & sole archives

The digital last data and sole data also may be used for the digital data storage.

Advantage: The last and sole data do not have any shrink and are still properly matching - even after decades.

Data transfer

Even nowadays patterns and presentations are conveyed often by mail or by telefax. But the transfer by electronic-mail is much faster and easier . Complete presentation files with many pages in a document and even the finished CAD-data can be transmitted within seconds world-wide.

Advantage: Decisions as well as production can be realised faster with a saving in time by some days.
